Last week, Finders Keepers and Jaggar made their catwalk debuts at Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF).
Move over, London, Paris, New York, Milan – you’re getting some serious fashion week competition from the beautiful Australian city of Melbourne!
Virgin Melbourne Fashion Festival is the largest fashion consumer event in Australia, with the public being able to buy tickets to events that encompass panel discussions, exhibitions and catwalk shows so it’s a refreshing open atmosphere.
This season’s runway shows included stunning catwalk presentations by Self Service brands Finders Keepers and hot new label Jaggar, whose much anticipated first collection will launch in the UK this spring /summer. The Adelaide based fashion labels had their collections styled by Cosmopolitan’s Fashion Director Nicole Adolphe. The fashion magazine presented Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Premium Runway 5.
Beautiful prints, intricate shapes and textures dominated the shows by Finders Keepers and Jaggar. Take a tour through the images from both catwalk shows and some street style snaps of the labels’ head designers Kate Anderson and Kirsty Irwin.
