Wildfox wow with a resort collection that is set to transform us into 70s bombshells a la Charlie’s Angels.
These girls are bold, smart and super stylish, they are the girls who can plan grande scenarios and dedicate themselves to pulling them off, they are the girls who can always make you laugh till it hurts, they are the ones every boy wants and every girl wants to be. The muses of Wildfox’ Resort 2013 collection are the three angels Kate Jackson, Farah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith – but this time they’re on vacation.
From cosy Christmas jumpers to lush bikinis, this collection will have you look your most stunning best wherever you will be when the year comes to a close. Whether you’ll be indulging in a beach break away or you’ll be relaxing at a hot spa while outside it’s snowing or you’ll be unwrapping your gifts in chilly Northern Europe, Angels Off Duty is bringing you your entire holiday wardrobe, complete with that Wildfox edge.
Designer Kimberley Gordon writes… “Something about the 70s was just so care-free. It was a decade that celebrated gimmicky entertainment, rainbow colours, Rock and Roll music and especially bombshells. Farrah Fawcett in that red swimsuit, fanned out hair and beautiful smile, Charlie’s Angels rushing to fight crime while still looking sexy in a bikini…”
Taking into account the overall recent love for the 90s (let’s not forget that they were also a rendition of all things groovy and 70s) it only makes sense that current visions of both 70s and 90s beauty are comprised within this range. These were the decades before Photoshop when it was all about a very natural sex appeal.
Modelled by Avery Tharp, Amanda Smith and Dioni Tabbers and shot by Mark Hunter as well as Kimberley Gordon, Wildfox’ latest collection is filled with fun, bold sayings and colours. Let the Wildfox angels take you under their wings and rush you away to a place of rainbows, furry carpets, disco balls, swimming pools and cocktails with bright cherries on top.
Wildfox Angels Off Duty will be coming into stores in late November.
