Belinda Carlisle might have taught us that heaven is a place on earth, but Finders Keepers have just found paradise and are bringing it straight into our autumn closets.
Paradise is a place of ideal beauty, where one finds an abundance of all things necessary to live a joyous life, in the most hedonistic way possible. But paradise also always represents freedom. Being free from negative thoughts, free from pain, free from all evil. To some, paradise might represent a lush rainforest or a tropical beach, for others a hut in the tranquility of a Scandinavian forest, yet for others paradise is purely a state of mind.
Finders Keepers’ latest collection Paradise Found celebrates the beauty of women who have found their version of paradise within themselves and are ready to express it through their wardrobe. We are seeing digital prints of monochromatic flowers, pops of sherbet orange, acid yellow and lush green, as well as shimmering gold, dark blue, black and cream on neoprene structured separates, signature asymmetrical dresses, contemporary playsuits and sportswear-inspired bralets and sweaters.
While the collection has been a success with international bloggers at New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2014 and TV personae Caroline Flack and Whitney Port have been spotted wearing Paradise Found, the collection also featured in fashion industry magazine Drapers.
The latest collection by Aussie label Finders Keepers is coming into stores across the UK and Europe early next week.
