Glastonbury might be over but there are still a number of UK festivals to look forward to this summer. Here’s a quick round-up of celebs wearing Wildfox at Glasto and Self Service’s very own Get-The-Festival-Look, a guide to what to wear to the open air.
With Lovebox and Latitude coming up this weekend and Bestival, Reading & Leeds and V Festival still to look forward to, we ask: what will you be dancing to in the outdoors this summer? Get the celebrity look with the Wildfox 90s Smile Lennon Sweater that Suki Waterhouse wore at Glastonbury earlier this month, pair it with the black high waisted Turning Tables Shorts by Finders Keepers, Wildfox Sun Winona Frames in black, a Dimepiece Ain’t No Wifey black Beanie (because who wants to get a sunstroke!?). Add splashes of colour with some funky nail varnish and a totally ironic, glitzy scrunchie (here’s a tutorial of how to DIY your own 90s style hair bands).
At Glastonbury, crowds were rocking to an out of this world lineup including The Rolling Stones, Portishead, Rita Ora, Vampire Weekend, Nas, The XX, Public Enemy, Arctic Monkeys and Dizzee Rascal. You can trust the British crowd to look more relaxed in effortlessly cool outfits which screamed Rock’n’Roll rather than glamour as we saw at Coachella. Festival favourites at Glasto were high waisted shorts (think Finders Keepers), mirrored sunglasses (such as from Wildfox), leather jackets (like LNA’s), lace dresses (Keepsake do beautiful ones) and hats (by SICK and Dimepiece are über cool).
Here are shots of BBC radio DJ Jo Wiley looking fantastic in the Wildfox Expensive Friendship Oversized Sweater with diamond symbols, as well as of model of the moment Suki Waterhouse wearing Wildfox not just once, but twice. Apart from the nostalgically-inspired yellow 90s Smile Lennon Sweater (which is also available in white), the paps snapped her sporting a Union Jack jumper: the Wildfox Save The Queen Penny Lane Sweater. Suki also popped up on Cara Delevingne’s instagram when it was time to say ‘Goodbye Glastonbury. Until next time! X’.
