While the fashion circus has moved on to Milan, we pause to look at some of the outfits we saw on that other catwalk in New York and London, aka the ‘street’.
Increasingly, the outfits found just outside the catwalk are grabbing the attention as much as the ones showcased as part of the trade shows. Has the catwalk moved to the street?
Whilst fashion looks to the future of a grouped together audience, the styles we see outside on the streets are immediate and individual. They are someone’s personal touch, infused with current trends, mixed and matched into something (more or less) wearable and entirely personal.
See what some of our favourite bloggers and personalities have been wearing in New York and London during the past couple of weeks.
Rachel Nguyen from That’s Chic who, despite the snow, rocked the Wildfox x Jeffrey Campbell shoes that had already featured in New York Fashion Week 2011. Her dress reminded us of the Mood For Love Dress from the Finders Keepers Secret Garden collection.

Blogger Peony Lim strutting the Wildfox Winona sunglasses on day 3 of NYFW. Loving the tassled ankle boots and what looks like pocketed trousers having a bit of a comeback…
Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice. This New York Fashion Week goer is working the monochrome stripe trend. Genetic do a pair just like hers.
Snapped by Caroline’s Mode.
More monochrome with a splash of fluro yellow by Take 10 contestant Kavita of She Wears Fashion. We love the clutch, super cool for keeping your bare essentials together, instead of loading too much into your handbag. Finders Keepers do amazing floral patterned clutch bags in their Secret Garden collection.
TV presenter and model Zara Martin looking fantastic at the Bora Aksu catwalk show on day 1 of London Fashion Week in her Finders Keepers’ Know You Now skirt from the Secret Garden collection.

Alice Point on day 3 of LFW. The Polish blogger has just moved to London and took part in a Wildfox Take 10 challenge back in August last year. Finders Keepers’ Evening Train Pant from The Bright Side collection split at the bottom to expose your shoes.
