Hot new label alert!! Introducing: Giles & Brother

And who doesn’t love to find out about a hot jewellery brand? We have wanted to tell you  all about this for a while and now we can! *drumroll* Giles & Brother is a fresh and uber stylish brand from New York and boy we can assure that you will fall in love!

SO. Where to begin on a collection  where the designer is known for putting an alternative industrial edge on fine jewellery…. The creative mind behind the brand, Philip Crangi, creates his collections by drawing inspiration from history ; Greco-Roman Artifacts, Medieval Armour and Victoriana fused with travel books and movies. How fantastic is that?!

The press have already gone CRAZY over it with fabulous features in Vogue, Elle Sunday Times Style to name few… it has also been spotted on Celebrities such as Emma Stone, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel!

Giles & Brother launched officially in Fall 2001 when Philip and his sister, also his business partner, began to create their jewellery designs from a studio in New York. With a background in design and goldsmithing, the designer has ever since made charming timeless pieces that have a unique edge. Each individual piece so thought out. “jewellery needs to be more personal than just fashion, because it has a much longer lifespan” Inspiration from is AW/11 collection derived from articulated Japanese armour and modernist sculptural silhouettes showcasing new ways of mixing materials. The whole collection just screams cool and makes us very happy here at Self Service!!

The best part? You can get all  of these  gems  from the following UK stores! Harvey Nichols  , Liberty of London , Net-a-Porter and Browns !
