Coachella is fast becoming the festival of choice for A-list stars and the fashion set, and this weekend was no exception! The world’s biggest stars and fashion names descended on California to soak up the sun, listen to live bands and make a fashion statement.
Whether on stage, like Eliza Doolittle wearing a huge feather headdresses, or Alison Mosshart in her usual cooler-than-cool rock uniform, or taking to the fields, like Kate Bosworth in white and a patriotic tee, or Vanessa Hudgens in laid-back, hippy 70s style, the fashion was almost as hot as the weather (38 degrees, people!).
The 70s fashion we saw on the S/S 2011 catwalks made it to the fields, with micro denim shorts, flowers, lace, crochet, maxi dresses and skirts, floppy hats, retro prints and acid colours giving this years Coachella a cool Woodstock vibe.
Wildfox fans, including attendees Alessandra Ambrosio and Vanessa Hudgens, really embraced the 70s trend, ticking many of the boxes of what promises to be the hottest trend this festival season. Wildfox had a little hippy-esque message for all the revellers as well! Get those daisy headbands ready and practise your peace signs, ladies, this summer is pure 70s!
