Last night some global A-listers descended on the Hammersmith Apollo in Londonto to help Radio 1 celebrate a show for teens, honouring teens.
BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards are a chance for you to recognise some of your own personal heroes in your everyday life and in the celebrity world.
We asked you to nominate someone out there, so amazing, that you think the world needs to hear about them. Your nomination could have been a sibling, carer, fundraiser or just a great mate. As long as they have done something truly out of the ordinary or selfless, are aged between 12 – 17 years and live in the UK.
Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and a huge host of boybands (including JLS and The Wanted) performed and gave out awards to the winning teens. Katy Perry wowed in another candy inspired latex outfit, Taylor Swift showed just why she’s queen of the dress, in her beautiful buff lace dress and crystal-covered guitar and our very own UK pop princess, Pixie Lott made a few teenage boys boil over in red.
JLS, The Wanted, McFly and Professor Green got the girls in the audience worked up into a frenzy and had them screaming like *teenagers* (wait, …:))
Congratulations to all the fantastic winners – we hope you had a great night!
