Are you excited about Halloween? We are at SS! What’s not to love?! Spooky fancy dress, trick or treating (never too old), all the sweets we can handle, caking ourselves in face paint, being allowed to wear crazy wigs, covering ourselves in fake blood, carving pumpkins, watching scary movies curled up with friends, only eating and drinking from things either shaped or covered with skulls, bones, ghosts and ghoulies, and most of all having fun with friends at house parties or heading out to our favourite *haunts* (Sorry! First of many!).
The latest Wildfox collection, ‘It’s Witchcraft’, is all about the romance of witchcraft and the supernatural. The entire collection will have you able to *bewitch* all you come across!
The Fall 2010 collection inspired by the ever-seductive power of White Magic. Like Frank Sinatra wrote, “Those fingers in my hair, that sly come hither stare that strips my conscience bare, it’s witchcraft.” “We all secretly wish we had magic powers”, say designers Emily Faulstitch and Kimberley Gordon – who grew up watching movies such as Teen Witch, Hocus Pocus, Now and Then, The Last Unicorn, and The Craft.
The collection is also inspired by soft, romantic characters like Jane Austen’s famous protagonists Marianne Dashwood and Elizabeth Bennet, Woody Allen’s Annie Hall and his real life muse Mia Farrow. You’ll have to see it to believe it’s their most inspired line yet, and watch out – you may just find yourself seduced by it’s powers as well!
We LOVE the new Halloween feature on www.wildfoxcouture.co.uk, where the entire homepage has been converted into an interactive Ouija board which moves on it’s own and spells out a message for you, but is it a Trick or a Treat?! You can also play with the Ouija board yourself and spell out your own cryptic message from the fashionably *late*! Every order placed between now and Halloween will receive a free pair of Halloween false lashes (so you can put boys under your spell) and a spooky discount 6.66% and, of course, their standard free UK delivery. Halloween has never looked so good!
