Venice Film Festival – The Best of the Red Carpet

Hollywood’s coolest A-lister are currently living the Dolce Vita at the Venice Film Festival and wearing the hottest looks from the AW2010 catwalks as they premiere their new films. Every ‘serious actress’ has relocated to Venice to showcase their new indie, art house films, such as, Jessica Alba and Machete, Natalie Portman and Black Swan, and, beautiful new comer, 12 year old Elle Fanning (Dakota’s younger sister) in Sofia Coppola’s new film, Somewhere.

The red carpets have been a guide to the hottest looks and trends from the AW2010 collections, with the best of the best from Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Rodarte and Alberta Ferrett. From the ‘Mullet Dress’ (translation: full length at the back, mini skirt at the front) as seen on Jessica Alba, looking beautiful in this Valentino Couture gown, to Louis Vuitton’s womanly 50s inspired collection of knee length skirts, waspish waists and lady-like glamour, as seen on Elisa Sednaoui, to the knock-out Alberta Ferretti gowns that were made for the red carpet, as seen on some of Italy’s starlets, these leading ladies made sure the lens was pointed in their direction!
