Junk Food take over at London Film and Comic Con 2010

Junk Food headed down to Earls Court in London last weekend for a pretty amazing event, London Film and Comic Con (LFCC), where we chatted to (and messed about with) all the movie and comic fans that had come to meet their idols, meet other super fans and buy loads of great Junk Food tees (naturally). If you haven’t heard of LFCC, and you love films, comics, gaming and the super natural, then I’m sorry to say you missed an amazing event, but fret not, here’s our guide and photos from the event, not to mention some of the best selling Junk Food tees from the day – it’ll be like you were there!

LFCC takes place every summer at Earls Court 2 in London.  Celebrating the best of film, television, comics and sport, London Film and Comic Con is a day out unlike any other, giving you the chance to meet your idols, ask them questions and have your photograph taken with them as well as grabbing the latest film/tv/comic merchandise on the market. This year the event had some big names with William Shatner and Mike Tyson in attendance amongst many others including a 30th Anniversary reunion of some of the actors from ‘Empire Strikes Back’.  There was the Cosplay where many visitors dressed up as their favourite film, tv or comic book idol, or people simply marveled at the many costumes that were on display in the Cosplay Zone.  There were plenty of talented artists demonstrating their skills in Artists Ally, as well as the DC Comics 75th Anniversary Covers Exhibition.  The Tumbler Batmobile was on show proving an instant hit with visitors as they entered the hall, and plenty of dealers selling a wide range of merchandise, comics, film props and more!

The London Film & Comic Con is the place to be if you love everything film, tv and comic related!

We were there with our Junk Food stand selling tees, which went down a storm(trooper) – sorry, a pun had to be made! We were also loving people’s fantastic costumes; check out Batman and Batgirl, Alice and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, and Sarah from Robot vs Badger wearing a Junk Food ‘Every Girl Loves a Superhero’ tee! Scroll down to see what other t-shirts were selling like crazy at LFCC!
