Since seeing this amazing image from Company magazine (Asos.com dress and LnA zipper shorts), we’ve remembered just how good the underwear and outerwear trend is! We feel in love with exposed slips, bustiers, bras, knickers, lace and satin when we saw Marc Jacobs, Dior, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana’s SS 2010 collections, which all featured underwear too darn pretty to keep under wraps!
This is a tricky trend to pull off; you neither want to look trampy or like a granny, but want to find that uber cool, laid back, quirky look that Marc Jacob so beautifully demonstrated on the catwalk. Well fret no more, we’re here to help and inspire!
LnA is a great great place to start with this look; sheer panels, cutaways, lace and shorts are all perfect for layering to create that slightly dishevelled, bohemian vibe. We love LnA‘s lookbook styling and Miggy, from Miggy Likes the Internet, take on the underwear trend, and we think they sum it up perfectly!
We’ve also become shockingly addicted to had a browse on Chictopia.com to find the ladies who now how to work the hell out of this trend, and these beauties are our favourites!
