The home team win at the MOBO Awards 2009

Last night saw the 14th annual MOBO awards 2009 hit Glasgow, hosted by Reggie Yates and Keri Hilson, and the night was all about home grown talent! Most of the awards last night went to UK artists, such as N-Dubz and JLS, who later got up on stage and showed everyone why they deserved a MOBO (or two, JLS!)

But the winners of the red carpet style-off were easily Alexandra Burke, Beverley Knight and VV Brown, who all looked amazing! Marie Claire’s November cover girl, Alexandra, looked like a true diva in her blue Pucci dress (and not unlike Keri Hilson don’t you think?), while Kelly Rowland and Beverley Knight vamped it up in head to toe black (maybe a bit too heavy on the leather Kelly, but loving those leopard Louboutins!) and last but by no means least was the gorgeous VV Brown wearing an a-maz-ing bat-winged mini-dress and her fur hat (which never leaves her head now apparently!) Who do you think won the style-off?

And the MOBO winners are…

Best UK Act– in association with Lebara: N-Dubz

Best Newcomer: JLS

Best Song– in association with PRSforMusic : ‘Beat Again’, JLS

Best Album: ‘Uncle B’, N-Dubz
